How to get the Gurgl Battle Pet

The quest to start this quest line is located in Dalaran Legion. This quest chain is five quests long and takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. To get to Dalaran Legion, you can use the hearthstone or the portal to Dalaran Legion in Orgrimar or Stormwind. Once you get to Dalaran, go to the Magical Menagerie and talk to Breanni. Before starting this quest line, you need to know that you can only do this quest line on one character.

Pet Detective - Use the item Breanni’s Special Spy Catching Cat, Fiona around Dalaran. Once done, turn into Breanni.

Pet Up - You will need to go to Eye of Azshara and find Zantini. Use the flight master in Dalaran. Once there, you will need to heal Zantini, Stringfellowe, and Speedy IV. Turn into Zantini when done.

The Coast is Clear - You will be gathering pet supplies along the shore as Speedy IV. Make sure to talk to Speedy IV to start, and try to avoid the Crocodiles as much as you can. Speedy IV does have three abilities to stun the enemies. When you are done, you will phase back to your character and can turn into Zantini.

Paw Patrol - Accept from Zantini. You will need to kill Violetsail pirates for keys so you can free the captured pets from the cages. Turn back into Zantini.

Gurgl and the Bandit - You will be battling Iris Greedsway in a pet battle.

My Strategy

I started with Lil’ Nefarian Scorched Earth, then DragonsCall, and Missing 1 should die. I switched to Chrominius and used Howl, Acarne Explosion, and then Surge of Power. This will kill Hornswaggle, and Chrominius will die when Gurgl comes out. I brought out Burdened Soul and used Haunt, and Lil’ Nefarian will be brought in. I used Shadowflame twice, and Gurgl will die.

Make sure to collect Gurgl after finishing the pet battle. He is located behind Iris Greedsway. Go back to Dalaran and turn in the quest to Breanni to get your pet. Good luck! 🖤 Cranburry
